Females in Democracy

All over the world the year 2007 has been becoming important for women in democracies or in their fight against dictatorships. If in the process some of hem killed or become martyrs, it may not surprise anyone as Venus in the Hindi New Year horoscope of 2007 has double affliction of Mars and Saturn.
In the month of October, this phenomenon is becoming more prominent as Saturn Ketu are in the same navamsha as I have spoken of already in my piece on are joined by Venus.

Some of the names of these women in news, that strike me are
1. Aung San Suu Kyi, Myanmar
2. Hillary Clinton, USA
3. Benazir Bhutto, Pakistan
4. Mayawati, India
5. Jayalitha, India
6. Uma Bharati, India
And now in the fall of Manmohan Singh government the stellar role will be played Sonia Gandhi and the woman president of India, Pratibha Patel.
In my class when I was talking about Saturn and Ketu in the same navamsha it was noticed and students pointed out the proximity also of Venus to these two planets.
Whatever misogynists may say, when women begin to shake the democratic governments or thrones or dictatorships, the seismic shocks are felt a little late and it is after a political-seismic change becomes noticeable, that all analysts jump into the fray to explain it.
The first to do it in India this year was Mayawati but that was when Saturn was in Ashlesha which has always caused revolutionary changes in India.
Then came Sonia Gandhi’s googly when she proposed the name of Pratibha Patil for the presidential contest in India before the meeting of the Congress and its supporting parties and stunned them all into silence and acceptance of her name.
And in the presidential election, it was the woman who won in India and not Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, a very likeable , friendly, mature politician who had hoped that there would be lot of cross voting to help him. But a woman had crossed his path and there was no cross voting.
Now the leftists in India are finding the woman called Sonia Gandhi playing with them more trickily with her googlies than they were prepared for. Sonia Gandhi has learnt all the tricks of Indira Gandhi but does even have ten percent of her great charisma.
Hillary Clinton, excellently educated and a very successful lawyer is beginning to
storm the orthodox Christian citadels of USA who inspite of US boast of being the leader of women’s lib movement, has its strong prejudice against women unlike more liberal Asia as recent history shows.
Aung San Suu Kyi is a symbol of supreme sacrifice and suffering and respected so much all over the world. What can she achieve cannot be predicted in the absence of her horoscope.
Benazir Bhutto is “benazir” in the truest sense of holding the world record of being the only prime minister dismissed twice and is wanting to make a big comeback in the uncertain, terrorist-ridden politics of Pakistan to become what ?---a martyr ? Her horoscope discussed so brilliantly by Manoj Pathak first and then Sonia Mehdiratta, does show Benazir entering the den of wolves, lions and terrorists.
Mayawati, advised by that astute lawyer Satish Chandra Mishra, whose horoscope shows a period spectacular rise is becoming the king maker in central politics.
Jayalitha continues to be enigmatic, the woman who did all iniqutious things against Shankaracharya of Kanchi is now talking of Lord Rama in her battle against Karunanidhi.
Uma Bharati, with her birth details not ascertainable, is a force in Madhya Pradesh politics and has stellar role to play in coming years.
On top of it all comes the new Unscheduled meeting between Sonia and President Patil 8 Oct 2007, 1618 hrs IST,PTI
It has caused palpitation. It reminds of an incident. A layman had asked a cardiologists once whether women were the cause of heart ailments. The surprised doctor asked why he was asking it.
“ Simple” said the layman. “ ANGINA and ISCHEMIA cannot be males.

Dwibharya yog:Predicting second marriage

The woman whose horoscope is being discussed for a successful prediction I had given to her in 2001 is a neighbour of ours and we know many happenings in their household from time to time. After she came to know that I had learnt astrology, she came with her horoscope one day to ask for a prediction. She has acknowledged it and the acknowledgement is given at the end of the article.
For a Hindu woman of an orthodox family a second marriage was never encouraged in earlier times. But in the changed times, we astrologers advise the widowed women to marry when we find it suitable to advise such women as they would heed to our advice.
This woman had got married for the first time on 9 Dec.1986 in the mahadasha of Jupiter the seventh lord and the antardasha of Mars. A happy married life followed till a disaster struck her when her husband developed jaundice which could not be cured and turned fatal for him.
In her case it was the period of Saturn-Venus, those of enigmatic periods in which there can be some big upset in one’s life and everything can turn topsy turvy.
The astrological reasons for this disaster are clear. Saturn the eighth lord in his own house with Jupiter the seventh lord aspected by Mars could cause a disaster and in turn aspecting Mars showed the event clearly in this case.
Venus is debilitated and the seventh lord from Venus, Jupiter repeats the story of this tragic incident.
In the navamsha seventh lord Moon with the eighth lord Sun and Saturn and with Venus in the sixth house made the picture gloomier.
Examining her horoscope, I advised her to have a second marriage which she agreed to, more so because the man she was going to marry, a widower, had been asked by his own daughter from his first wife to marry a second time.
Her second marriage took place on 20 April 2013. Though there have been some controversies for the house to be seen for the second marriage, we have found in our replicable researches that the ninth house, the third one from the seventh, gives us a valuable clue in this matter.
She was running the mahadasha of Saturn and the antardasha of Rahu. Rahu in the third house here is seventh from the ninth house. Saturn was in Vrisha in transit when her second marriage was finalised. From here he was aspecting the ninth house and Jupiter was in Karka aspecting the ninth lord Saturn in the eighth house.
Thus the dasha and transits were favourable when she got married for the second time.
She is now happily settled with her four children, two from the first marriage and two from the second one.
Her written appreciation written sometime in May 2014
Dear Maulikkbhai
Kindly recall my meeting you in 2013. You had predicted that:
a)I would soon get a job and I did get one.
b)There was the possibility of a second marriage also. I got married and am happy with my children and second husband.
c)You had also said that I would start earning with some machines. I have been using compters efficiently and help my husband in his share market work constantly.
This is a great science you have learnt.
May God bless you.

11th House is the house of gains, of recognition and awards.

A successful person is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks that others throw at him or her. David Brinkley

We live in the world of success worshippers. In Kalyuga the predominant tendency of all ambitious people is to succeed and succeed ONLY. The end is important for them, whatever may be the means adopted to achieve success. The importance of 11th House cannot be over emphasised in Kalyug where the only barometer of success is money! 11th House is the house of gains, of recognition and awards.

As per Brihat Parashar Hora Shastra, an auspicious 11th house makes a person happy at all times. 11th house indicates the fructification of efforts of a person. A person is doomed to a lifetime of struggle and very limited gains if the 11th house does not show promise. The pivot around which success revolves in a horoscope is 11th lord and the 11th house. When we assess the horoscope of successful people, we find that all of them have a strong 11th House and 9th house (11th from 11th house).

Assessment of Success in a Horoscope
After assessing the strength of Lagna, promise of other bhavas in the horoscope and various yogas present in the horoscope, we assess the potential to succeed by the following:

1. See the placement of 11th Lord.
-- 11th lord in Kendra or Trikona is good
-- 11th lord in own house is good
-- Exalted 11th lord is excellent
--11th lord in 6th house or 8th house is not good

2. Number of planets connected to the 11th house
Do not fail to notice a concentration of planets in the 11th house or associated with the 11th lord. The more the number of planets connected to the 11th house/lord, the more is the possibility of material success of that person.

How do we count the number of planets connected to the 11th house/lord? Let’s do it in the horoscope of famous American builder Kirk Kerkorian. The 11th house has sign Gemini. See the planets placed in the 11th house. Venus and Ketu are placed there. Now see the planets aspecting the 11th house. In this horoscope, Moon and Rahu are aspecting the 11 house. Now see the number of planets connected to the lord of the 11th House – Mercury (Conjunction, aspect, exchange). In this horoscope, Mercury is placed in the 10th house and is conjunct with Sun, Jupiter, and Mars. So we find that 8 planets are connected to the 11th house and 11th lord. This clearly foretells great success for the person as most dashas of his life will have a connection with 11th house. However, such a person can be very greedy and may devote all his energies in accumulating material things, money, and wealth.

3. Confirmation from Navamsha (D-9) Confirm the position of the 11th house and the 11th lord from Navamsha (D-9). As you can see from the table below, the promise of D1 is confirmed in D9 for successful people.

4. Number of Ashtakvarga points between 10th house and 11th house
The Ashtakvarga points of 10th and 11th houses from Lagna, Moon and Sun indicate how much a person will be rewarded for his efforts. If the points of 11th house are more than the 10th house the person will be suitably rewarded for his efforts.
5. Connection between the 11th lord and the 2nd lord The connection between 11th house (earning) and the 2nd house (wealth) shows the capacity to retain the money earned. See if the 2nd and 11th lords are connected, in kendras from each other or in exchange.
6. Raj Yogas and Dhan Yogas Make full analysis of Raj Yogas and Dhan Yogas present in
the horoscope.
7. Dasha Sequence The dasha sequence at the right time in life is the key to achieving success and acclaim.
Warning Our Guru, Shri K.N. Rao always emphasizes that in the changing times, what is given in the astrological classics even if not interpolated have to beinterpreted liberally
Relation between Lagna and 11th house
The 11th Lord is neutral or enemy of the Lagna lord for each sign.

Exaltation and Debilitation For each Lagna, the house where 11th lord exalts and debilitates indicates the inclinations of that lagna. For Gemini and Pisces Lagna, 11th Lord exalts in the 8th house. (examples are Einstein and Morarji Desai). For Aquarius Lagna, the 11th Lord exalts in the 6th house indicating success after struggle (example is Amitabh Bachchan). For Aries and Libra Lagna it exalts in the 7th house of spouse and partnership. For Cancer and Virgo Lagna it exalts in the 9th house of father and luck. In case of Leo and Aquarius Lagna, 2nd and 11th lords are the same.

--It is a trishadhaya house with 3rd house and 6th house. It is the strongest among the trik houses.
--It is a part of Kaam Trikona with 3rd house and 7th house. The strongest ofKaam trikona also.

There is a saying -  Control your desires or they will control you.  The 11th house is the house of your desires and without controlling the 11th house significations; one cannot begin on the spiritual path. Hence the 11th house is the biggest stumbling block to salvation. The last barrier! For those leading a spiritual life the 11th house, being the strongest of the Kaam trikona is bondage and bad for salvation.

Ecoastrology..a new way to look economics

When
market analysts across the globe are losing sleep over the possibility of a 'Brexit vote' and its potential impact on stocks, bonds, currencies and other asset classes, Indian astrologers remain firm in their readings that there is nothing to worry about.
After Raghuram Rajan announced his exit from the Reserve Bank of India earlier this week, markets stabilised rather quickly, showing the inherent strength of the domestic market.
But market veterans feel a Brexit vote would shake up that confidence and destabilise the market.
Most astrologers feel otherwise, and say they do not foresee such an event and there is nothing to worry about.
Astrologer Murtaza Ali says Britain will not exit theEuropean Union (EU) and markets will turn more bullish after the vote.
"The Indian market is likely to move in a range. The upper cap or the range for Nifty50 would be around 8,338-8,388 level, whereas the downside will be capped at 8,038-7,988 levels," he said.
Ali said any breach of 30-50 points above or below this cap will lead to initiation of fresh short or long positions.
"India should not worry too much about the Brexit referendum," said Mumbai-based celebrity Astro-Numerologist Sanjay B Jumaani. "We are in our 69th (6, Venus) year, which can be a landmark year for the market, especially when it coincides with 2016 (9, Mars)," he said.
History speaks for itself. Picture this, the influence of 3,6,9 (that's a family) on India goes back to the year 1947. India is in a strong year, which would prove good for the market.
"Sample this: the year we got Independence, 1947=3; the date 15th Aug (15=6). We won the elusive cricket World Cup in 1983 (1983=3) with number 6 captain Kapil Dev (06/01) whose name adds up to 3," Jumaani said.
"In 2010 (3) in our 63rd (9) year when the whole world was reeling under recession, India was least affected. We were doing so well that we had for the first time powerful visitors like Obama and Sarkozy being lured by our growing economy for trade talks," Jumaani said.
Analysts across the world are puzzled about the exact impact on various asset classes. Even the world's most famous currency speculator came out and said a Brexit vote could result in a black Friday for the UK.
Some astrologers said even this week's planetary positions favour the market. Moon is transiting Sagittarius and Capricorn, while Pluto is in Sagittarius, Mars is in Libra and Jupiter and Rahu are in Leo.
Lord Ketu and Neptune are transiting Aquarius, Sun and Venus are in Gemini, Saturn is in Scorpio, Mercury is in Taurus and Uranus is in Pisces.
Stars and planetary positions have more information on the possible movement of the stock market. The predictions are more relevant for long-term investors
"Astrologically, the trend is supportive for the market with food processing and housing-related stocks gaining momentum," he said.
